Our team is looking forward to welcoming you to the colorful and inspiring Chihuly Garden and Glass. To make the most of your visit, keep reading for suggestions and information.

The average time to see and enjoy the Galleries, Garden and Glasshouse is between 1 – 2 hours. In this self-paced experience, visitors can enjoy the artwork for as long as they like and listen to the downloadable audio tour for an enriched experience. Consider eating at The Bar, trying delicious pizza in the Art Plaza during summer—or shopping at The Bookstore, to optimize your time.

If you have any questions or concerns during your visit, our friendly and knowledgeable staff members are always nearby in the Exhibition to assist you. We kindly ask you to be mindful of the space and respect the artwork, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.

To ensure that all Exhibition visitors enjoy their visit, we ask you to adhere to the following:

Photos are encouraged, but no selfie sticks, gimbals, or tripods are allowed at the Exhibition.
Speaking on cell phones is not permitted inside the Galleries. Please limit use to the Gardens.
Large strollers, bags, and suitcases are not permitted in the Galleries. Lockers are available for rent to store these items.
Only service animals are allowed in the Exhibition.
Food and drink—including water bottles—are not permitted in the Exhibition.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is open year-round, with occasional adjusted hours for private events. Operating hours are posted approximately one month in advance.

Live Glass Demonstrations

Flameworking

Demonstrations daily from 11:00AM – 8:00PM

Local artists offer a closer look at the magic of molten glass through live demonstrations of Flameworking – the art of melting and shaping glass using a torch. Watch as they transform glass rods into beads, figurines, ornaments and more. The artists will also be available to answer questions about the characteristics and process of working with glass.

Please note that demonstrations may be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather.

Seattle Center Monorail

The monorail is a convenient way to get to Chihuly Garden and Glass from downtown. Just hop on at Westlake Station and you’ll arrive near the Exhibition in minutes.

These parking garages are operated by the City of Seattle and offer the best rates for most visitors. The Fifth Avenue N. Garage is closest to the Exhibition.
