The Collections Café is open to the general public and is located at Chihuly Garden and Glass. Online reservations are recommended.
The amount of time you spend in the galleries depends upon you, as the visit is self-paced, however the average amount of time most visitors spend viewing the artwork in the Exhibition Hall, Garden and Glasshouse is 1-2 hours.
Chihuly Garden and Glass is located at the base of the Space Needle on the grounds of the Seattle Center, so it is only a short walk to get from one site to the other. Expect to spend between 2-3 hours to visit both sites at a comfortable pace. If you plan on eating at the Collections Café or shopping at The Bookstore, additional time may be needed.
Chihuly Garden and Glass offers both guided and self-guided tours for adults and college age students, as well as programs tailored for youth and school group visits. Learn more about group tours, contact: [email protected].
Press inquiries should be directed to PR manager, [email protected].
We’re constantly looking at new partnership opportunities. Send us a note at [email protected] and we’ll take a look.
This is a long-term exhibition, defined in years, not months. With lease renewals Chihuly Garden and Glass can run for 30 years.
While we don’t have immediate plans for this now, it is possible.
The exhibition includes a mix of new and previously exhibited artworks. Chihuly had the opportunity not only to choose where to install the artworks but also design the galleries, so the context for this exhibition is unique. As his installations interact with light and space in a way unlike paintings or sculpture, visitors who may have seen some of these pieces before will have a new experience.
We do plan to offer programming relating to local artists and arts organizations. Details for activities at the exhibition will be available on our website.
